As "share 'em" is an important part of the B.O.S.S. Guitar Works mantra, we have had the opportunity to create guitars and donate them to various charities, organizations, or as gifts from Ecole Selkirk Jr. High. The pictures that follow are of the different guitars that we have donated for these purposes. This charity work is as important to B.O.S.S. Guitar works as any other portion. We are very proud of the amount of money we have been part of raising and the guitars we have developed for various charities.
Below are pictures of guitars we have donated so far, as work is always ongoing.
Check back often, as pictures are added all the time.
If you are involved with a charity or community organization please get in touch with us. (see the Contact page) We are currently working with the students to create a process for selecting organizations and groups to support and while we can not help everyone we can do our best to give a variety of groups the means to help themselves raise money for their causes.

This guitar has the distinction of being the first guitar we donated, to the Dr. Dale Iwanoczko Memorial Scholarship foundation in 2010. The Dr. Dale Iwanoczko guitar was sold at live auction at the golf tournament. Each year four scholarships of $750 are awarded, and this guitar almost paid for an entire scholarship.
We donated two guitars to the Believe in Goal Foundation in 2010. Pictured is Jordan Tootoo holding one of the two guitars just after he added his signature to it. Both B.I.G. guitars were autographed by more than 15 NHL players and they sold in the Believe in the Goal silent auction at the MTS Centre last August. Money from this charity is used to assist cancer patient care.
The guitar was donated to the crew at 92 CITI FM. Look forward to your chance to own this guitar as Tom & Joe will be offering it up this Xmas in support of the Salvation Army in their annual bed-in project!
BOSS Guitar Works was asked to create a guitar for Bill Morrisssey from Yes! Winnipeg as a thank you for his address to the Selkirk & District Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Morrisssey was ecstatic with his gift and the guitar now rests in the Yes! Winnipeg offices in Winnipeg where entrepreneurs and political leaders from across the country visit.
The Winnipeg Police Service actually featured the students and the guitar they created at a press conference! The guitar was eventually raffled off with the money raised to be used in the fight against cancer. Chief McCaskill was thrilled to meet the kids and hear about such a positive project!
This is the guitar we donated for the Believe in the Goal Foundation in 2011. The Believe in the Goal foundation will once again be asking its NHLer's to sign a guitar to be auctioned off this August. With confirmed players including Winnipegers Jonathon Toews, Nigel Dawes, Darren Helm and a host of others this guitar will go for a great price helping perpetuate Todd's dream of helping cancer patients.
This guitar was donated to the Dr. Dale Iwanoczko Memorial Scholarship foundation in 2011. This oak bodied beauty will be sure to be highly sought after following the success of the guitar sold last year. Pictured with the guitar is John Blacher, chair of the scholarship committee
This August 11th don't miss Miracle Treat Day at the Selkirk Dairy Queen when this guitar goes up for grabs! Constructed to look like a Blizzard ice cream treat this guitar shows a great deal of originality in its design. And yes - it's completely playable and sounds as good as a Blizzard tastes!!!
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers recently auctioned off one of our BOSS guitars at their annual Hall of Fame dinner. Although we are still waiting for the amount it helped them raise we do know that Milt Stegall was impressed with the guitar when he signed it.
